Resuming after interruption

Recheck the same account and organization. Resume after required authentication or review; do not substitute a new account.

Confirm channel use

Choose the Facebook Page that will receive customer messages. This connection is separate from a personal profile or advertising account. Identify its owning business and administrator.

Prepare assets and permissions

Confirm the Page ID and messaging permissions with your connection contact. Share access tokens through the designated secure channel. Verify messaging access separately from Page publishing access.

Match the Laney account

Give the Facebook Messenger Page identifiers and Laney organization to your contact. After connection, compare the platform, organization, and external account. Do not manually mark access complete while external approval or authentication is pending.

Test reception and replies

Have a test customer send a message first. Check that it appears in Laney, then verify the reply in the same customer channel. Record the reception time and conversation ID. Prepare and test outbound templates separately.
