Operate advertising campaigns
Prepare an advertising integration, publish a campaign, and manage budgets, metrics, and leads.
Scenario and success criteria
Example: A branch uses local search ads to create consultation reservations. Define the target action as a consultation form submission. Approve the daily budget and target area. Confirm that a test conversion reaches the connected account. After publication, compare clicks, leads, first responses, and completed reservations for the same period.
Review cost, impressions, and clicks. Also review cost per lead, first response time, qualified leads, and reservation conversion. Use the same conversion definition and period when comparing campaigns.
Before you start
- Select the organization and advertising provider account.
- Approve the objective, daily budget, currency, audience, and success measure.
- For Meta advertising, complete Connect a Meta advertising account first.
Verify the advertising integration
Open Integrations and find the provider with Connected status. Confirm that the advertising assets and current organization have the same scope.
Create a draft campaign
Open Campaigns, then select the provider and objective. Enter the name, daily budget, and currency. For Google, select Search, Performance Max, or Display.
Enter provider requirements
Review the audience, creative, and connected assets. For Meta, select a special ad category when required. Confirm every item required by the provider policy.
Publish as active
Confirm the approved budget and settings, then select Active. Wait for provider preparation to finish. For an error, check permissions and advertising asset status.
Review metrics and leads
Compare spend, impressions, clicks, and conversions for the same period. For native lead forms, review each new customer's campaign, channel, and account attribution.
Pause or end the campaign
Select Paused to stop delivery now. Select Ended after completion. Before disconnecting an integration, delete every campaign created through it.
Check the result
- The campaign status matches its provider status.
- The daily budget and currency match the approved values.
- Metrics use the same date range and currency.
- Leads connect to the correct campaign, channel, and account.
- Customer statuses and payments match conversion measurement.
Connect and verify advertising measurement
Prepare the website model, account access, domains, data choices, and conversion stages, then verify Google and Meta test events.
