Reproduce and report a problem
Reproduce an administrator configuration problem safely and collect useful evidence.
When product behavior differs from your expectation, record the symptom and scope before more configuration changes. Reproduce with synthetic test data. Do not copy a customer's personal information.
Operating value
A structured report reduces the time needed to reproduce a cause. It also helps the support team compare repeated problems. Report quality depends on reproducible steps and safe evidence. Track time to reproduce, additional information requests, recovery time, and recurrence.
Report examples
Example: A public form submission fails. Complete the same questions with a synthetic name and test phone number. Record the time, page address, organization, expected target, and displayed error. Do not attach a secure link or real customer answers.
Example: A reservation time is missing. Record the branch, service, date, and expected time. Check business hours, closures, capacity, and gaps in order. Record the rule that removes the time so the support team can reproduce the same conditions.
Check first
- Record the current organization and branch.
- Record the page address and time of the problem.
- Confirm the administrator account's permission scope.
- Refresh the page. Repeat the same steps once.
- Do not test with another organization or real customer data.
Check the product area
Include this information in a support request
- Organization and branch name
- Page and feature with the problem
- Time and interface language
- Expected result and actual result
- Minimum reproduction steps
- Displayed error text
- Screenshot or short recording with synthetic data
- Settings that you already checked
Do not send sensitive information
Do not include customer names, phone numbers, medical history, case information, secure links, or sign-in details. Replace each value with synthetic data of the same format.
Check the result
- You reproduced the problem in one organization or branch.
- Each reproduction step contains one action.
- The expected and actual results are separate.
- The report contains no personal data or secure link.
- The error text and time are recorded.
