Check the result
Updates and cancellation of the original event match reservation state.
Resuming after interruption
Read the same IDs again. Preserve correct settings and update only differences.
Choose an account and calendar
Choose the Google account and primary calendar that will display reservations. Define customer-name visibility, event privacy, and time zone. Check which shared-calendar users can see customer information.
Connect and configure scope
Complete Google authorization and compare the connected account and calendar. Use sourceQuery to define the complete reservation set. Excluded reservations become removal candidates, so do not use pagination with limit or offset.
Test the reservation lifecycle
Create, reschedule, and cancel a test reservation in Laney. Check the Google event after each change. To retain cancelled events with cancelPolicy=keep, include cancelled reservations in the query. Do not assume reverse synchronization.
Handle expired or removed access
Check that synchronization stops when access expires or is removed. Confirm how existing external events are retained or cleaned up. After reconnection, test the same reservation for missing or duplicate events.
