Build charts and dashboards
Read conversion shares and multi-branch totals on the default core value dashboard, save cards to customize them, and reconcile source records.
After this taskSource records under the same conditions explain the reported figure.

Check the result
Source records under the same conditions explain the reported figure.
Resuming after interruption
Read the same source IDs again. Check organization and time range before treating an empty result as missing data.
Opening Dashboards in the left menu immediately displays the Core value dashboard, even before you create any custom charts. Six cards track Laney's core value propositions by month, including conversation-to-reservation conversion and AI autonomous response share. You can read these metrics across a single branch or a multi-branch headquarters, then save any card to customize its title and layout.
This guide explains how to read the six core value charts, customize a card, and reconcile the numbers with source records.
Default chart to inspect:
Conversation to reservation shareUpdated title after saving:
Monthly inquiry booking rate
Chart figures summarize the source records stored for the selected organization scope and period. Before attributing a change to one campaign or prompt, check the underlying denominator and numerator records.
Define a metric and source
Select Dashboards in the left menu. When an organization has no saved dashboards, six core value cards appear in a two-column grid. Each card header shows the date range and overall ratio (for example, 2026. 5. 1. ~ 2026. 10. 16. · 42.5%(17/40)), followed by a monthly stacked bar chart with Converted and Unconverted series.
| Default chart | Connected value outcome | What the stacked bars compare |
|---|---|---|
Conversation to reservation share | Increase inquiry satisfaction and conversion | Conversations started in the month where the customer later made a non-canceled reservation |
AI autonomous response share | Reduce repetitive staff work | Conversations started in the month handled by AI without human staff intervention |
Returning visit share | Increase return visits and retention | Active reservations in the month that are the customer's second or later booking |
Engaged customer inflow | Increase new customer acquisition | New customers created in the month who have a conversation, reservation, or payment |
Reservation to purchase share | Improve marketing and sales efficiency | Active reservations in the month followed by a valid purchase from the same customer |
Connected customer record share | Keep connected customer records | Active customers who have at least two record types among conversations, reservations, and payments |
You can also open Charts to create custom charts from additional templates. Available templates include Customers by status, Status inflow, Customer conversion, Conversion waterfall, Conversion flow, and Completed purchase value. For exact numerator and denominator rules, see Define metrics and comparison periods.
Set aggregation conditions
Check the organization selector in the top-left corner before reading a chart.
- Multi-branch headquarters (
subtreescope): Selecting a parent headquarters organization aggregates records across all child branches by default. Customers who visit multiple branches are unified by normalized phone number or email address. A customer who books once at Branch A and later at Branch B counts as a returning customer across the brand. - Single branch (
organizationscope): Selecting an individual branch limits the chart to records owned by that branch. - Time window and filters: Default value charts group the last 180 days by month. After saving a chart, you can edit its time window (
windowDays), bucket unit (day, week, month), scope (subtreeororganization), inflow source (source), and campaign (campaignId). Canceled reservations and voided or failed purchases are excluded from conversion numerators.
Arrange the dashboard
Use the Chart options button in the top-right corner of any card to customize a chart or change its layout.
1. Save a default card to edit its settings
Click Chart options on the card you want to customize, then select Save & edit chart. This action saves the default card set to your organization's dashboard and opens the selected chart in the right detail panel.
2. Update the title and card layout
Change the Title input in the detail panel (for example, Monthly inquiry booking rate) and press Tab to save.
On a saved dashboard, each card's Chart options menu provides two actions.
| Menu item | Detail panel opened | Adjustable settings |
|---|---|---|
| Edit chart | Chart (charts) detail panel | Chart title, template, time window, and filter definition |
| Card layout | Dashboard item (dashboard_items) detail panel | Linked chart, card width (half or full), and display order (position) |
To change the dashboard column count (one, two, or three), edit the dashboard record itself. Keep identical time ranges and units on charts that you compare side by side.
Reconcile source records
Hover over a monthly bar to read its Converted and Unconverted counts. Then open the matching source list (Conversations, Reservations, Customers, or Purchases) in the left menu.
- For Conversation to reservation share, filter Conversations by the same month and compare the total count with the bar's denominator.
- Open a sample customer in the detail panel and check that an active reservation exists after the conversation start time.
- Exclude synthetic test customers or test reservations when interpreting operational results.
If the result differs from what you expected
The headquarters total differs from the sum of individual branches
Headquarters charts deduplicate customers across branches using normalized phone numbers and email addresses. When one customer visits two branches, the headquarters chart counts one customer with connected history rather than two separate people. Select an individual branch in the organization switcher to inspect branch-only numbers.
The menu shows Save & edit chart instead of Edit chart
You are viewing the unsaved default dashboard. Select Save & edit chart once to create saved dashboard items for your organization. Both Edit chart and Card layout appear after saving.
The reservation table count differs from the chart count
Check which record provides the chart's denominator and date bucket. Conversation to reservation share groups by the month the conversation started and counts conversations. Reservation to purchase share and Returning visit share group by the month the non-canceled reservation was created.
