Check the result

Delivery and actual receipt correlate. Later bookings measure return-visit outcomes separately.

Resuming after interruption

Inspect the original delivery ID first. Stop if delivery is uncertain; distinguish an explicit retry from the original attempt.

When contacting past customers for a return visit, define your audience from completed reservations or purchases rather than account signup dates. Because return-visit offers and reminders that encourage new purchases are advertising contact, verify channel-specific advertising consent and exclusions before sending.

This guide defines a return-visit cohort from source records, verifies consent exclusions and copy in preview, and evaluates later bookings separately.

Synthetic cohort example: 5 customers under 데모 클리닉 LINE, separated into ready and blocked recipients by advertising consent

Template inspected: 10월 재방문 상담 안내 (LINE advertising template)

Define the return-visit cohort from completed visits

Start from completed reservation or purchase records when building a return-visit list. Do not use profile creation time or a general inquiry date as a substitute for a completed visit.

Compare inclusion and exclusion rules against source records before selecting rows.

CriterionSource record checkWhen to exclude the customer
Last completed visitRead the completion date on the customer's past reservation or purchase.Exclude customers whose only past records were canceled or marked no-show.
Upcoming reservationCheck whether the customer already has a future booking scheduled.Exclude customers who have already booked their next visit.
Linked channel accountConfirm that the target channel account (데모 클리닉 LINE) is linked.Exclude customers missing a valid address on the chosen channel.

Inspect the test customer's last visit and completion state in Reservations (예약) first, then match the customer ID in Customers (고객).

Apply advertising contact rules whenever a return-visit message includes a promotion, discount, or invitation to book again. An 활성 (Active) profile status or a past visit does not grant advertising consent.

Confirm that each recipient has active advertising consent for the selected channel and has not withdrawn it. Record any pending opt-out requests first in Record advertising consent and withdrawal. Do not use AI outbound phone calls for advertising return-visit campaigns.

Verify cohort exclusions and copy in preview

1. Select the cohort in Customers and open Send

Apply your filter in Customers (고객), check the eligible customer rows, and select Send (발송). The recording filters five synthetic customers under 데모 클리닉 LINE and opens Send (5) (발송 (5)).

2. Choose the return-visit template and run Preview

Select 10월 재방문 상담 안내 in Template (템플릿) and click Preview (미리보기). Wait for the dialog to calculate the Ready (발송 가능) and Blocked (발송 불가) counts.

3. Check exclusion reasons and rendered copy

Confirm that customers without consent or with recorded withdrawals appear under Blocked (발송 불가) with matching reasons. Read the first ready recipient's address (받는 사람) and rendered text to verify the customer name variable (${customer.display_name}), offer terms, and opt-out instructions.

Registering organization-supplied copy in a template is distinct from an external copywriting service.

Separate delivery, booking, and completed visits when measuring outcomes

After sending to verified recipients, match the delivery records in template history and track subsequent bookings over a defined observation window.

Keep these three stages separate when evaluating the campaign.

  1. Delivery: Check template delivery history to confirm how many ready recipients received the message without error.
  2. Booking created: Check reservation records to see which contacted customers scheduled a new appointment after the send.
  3. Completed visit: Confirm whether those new reservations reached completed status rather than cancellation or no-show.

Without a baseline or comparison group, do not attribute every subsequent return visit solely to the message. Define your evaluation window and baseline first in Define metrics and comparison periods.

If the result differs from what you expected

Customers with upcoming reservations appear in the cohort

Filtering only by customer status misses scheduled future bookings. Cross-check Reservations (예약) and remove customers who already have an upcoming appointment before sending.

Most cohort members are excluded as blocked in preview

Check whether the template is marked as advertising while your selected customers lack channel-specific advertising consent. Do not toggle consent on without real customer evidence just to increase the ready count.

Customer names or offer conditions are missing in preview

Check the first ready customer's profile for empty fields. Verify the variable syntax in Prepare a sending account and message template, then run Preview again.

Return visits increased, but campaign impact is unclear

Separate total store visits from bookings made by message recipients. Compare those bookings against a baseline period in Define metrics and comparison periods.
